Monday dinners

"Monday Dinners" is a series of filmed dinners inspired by the meetings organized by Paulette and Jeanne Nardal in Paris in the early 1930s. Roxane Mbanga organized a series of dinners at NOIRES, which she recorded on camera. She invites artists working on self-perception, gender, and/or racial identity to discuss how they are perceived in the country where they are based (where the dinner takes place) and the impact on their artistic practice.
